The Anime series of Detective Conan start showing in Japan on 8 January 1996 on YTV. There are 12 opening songs for it (and keep going), and 16 ending songs (and also keep going), and there are also 7 movies plus special episodes ^_^ There are some things that have not been showed in the anime series, but it shown in the manga, like: In the 1st episode, after Shinishi drank the drug you will see him shouting, but in the manga you will see him burning ! O__O
